Wine Fair and Distil close with solid figures

Firstly, many thanks to all those exhibitors and visitors that made the 29th London International Wine Fair and Distil such a positive event.

Nearly 14,000 visitors (net) attended over the three days, which is the show’s second highest ever footfall, beaten only by the outstanding results in 2008.

James Murray, event director, commented: “Despite the best efforts of the UK recession, global economic collapse and the threat of swine flu, we’ve enjoyed excellent results. Distil, which welcomed 6,190 visitors over the three days, has strengthened its position as the dedicated spirits event to the trade and exhibitors throughout both events have been really positive about the future.”

The dates for the 30th anniversary LIWF and Distil next year will be:

18 - 20th May 2010
